It is my belief that everyone is lonely at some point in their lives. For some people this period may seem like an eternity, for others, it may only last for a few days or weeks at a time. Three characters in the novel "Of Mice and Men" who I feel are lonely are: Lennie, Candy, and Curley's Wife.
