Prayer in Schools: To Pray, or Not to Pray? A very controversial issue faced in schools today is the subject of prayer in the classroom, and rightfully so it is an issue that should be discussed. In America there are hundreds, if not thousands of different religions and beliefs among people. Unlike thirty years ago, Christianity is not the only one that is recognized in this country. In the Internet article I choose it tells of three specific incidences that have occurred recently in schools. The first tells of a picture of Jesus Christ that had hung on the wall of a public school for nearly thirty years, and then because of a student lawsuit it was removed.
