ESL Students at GSU Every year, hundreds of foreign students come to United States to go to school. Some of these students are already familiar with English, but most of them do not even know the basic material for English. Therefore, it is not easy for them to follow the classes as students who were born in United States. Although international students are required to take specific courses and programs, unfairly, most of these courses do not count toward a university degree. Most of the time, foreign students do not speak or write in English fluently. For those students, there are lots of special programs at Georgia State University. For example, since college and university s
