The Need for Americans to Vote Many Americans choose not to vote. If they would vote, they would be able to make a difference in our country. Voting is a Democratic privilege given to us by the constitution, the same thing that gives us our basic rights and liberties which we all cherish so much, and by not voting we are in a sense showing a lack of pride in our government and our nation.
