When President Eisenhower held presidency, our society trusted big corporations and did not question their motives or actions. The American people felt that whatever the corporations were doing would benefit the people and the country. Then came the Nixon/Watergate scandal and it was during this era that America’s innocence and naiveté was broken. The public began to scrutinize corporatio
