The Hobbit: A Review The book I read and analyzed was “The Hobbit” by J.R.R. Tolkein. I shall discuss the plot and character development, setting, author's style and my opinions about it. Plot Development There are too many characters in the story and so it is hard to follow and know each one of them. (There are many dwarves and it's confusing.)
